In fact, Rope purflings are adjacent to the rainbow-like abalone, all over this exquisite guitar - the headstock, fretboard, top & back, and sides have this trim. It's a "45" style archtop.
Also note, this is purely an acoustic instrument, ~ it sounds pure & woody, and expressive with subtle nuances. The notes shimmer with honey.
