This is our first guitar from John's Traditional series and I must say, we are mighty impressed! This lil' guy is great for throwin' down some blues. But, can also be played subtly fingerstyle. Holds its own strumming too. The finish is similar to what you find on Martin Authentic model guitars. It is low gloss and smooth as silk. We love it!
Another note: we just acquired a 1917 Martin 0-21 guitar. This guitar sounds very similar and even has a similar headstock. John Osthoff rocks!
