2013 Caldwell 00-42 Custom Guitar
- Jimmy Caldwell's personal guitar for a few years, originally displayed at the 2013 Healdsburg Guitar Show
- All Koa, i.e. Koa back, sides and top
- Genuine reclaimed Ivory, hand-cut pyramid bridge
- "42 style" appointments
- Blue Paua Abalone rosette, top trim and fretboard perimeter
- 1902 style Martin Torch headstock inlay
- Slotted headstock with purfling lines
- Waverly 3 on a plate tuning machines with CocoBolo buttons
- Blue paua 42 style fretboard markers
- Cocobolo body, headstock and fretboard bindings
- CocoBolo end graft
- Martin 45 style back center strip
- Near Mint--- condition with OHSC
- Although this guitar has a 1 7/8" nut width, it is super easy to play, and I usually prefer a 1 3/4" nut width.
- This one is comfortable and works well with the guitar as a whole
