1991 John Arnold Jimmie Rodgers Weymann Special Guitar Built in 1991, SN 30. One of 3 in existence, excluding the original in the Country Music Hall of Fame. Honduran Mahogany - the likes of which we have NEVER seen. West Virginia Red spruce top. Ebony fingerboard and pyramid bridge. Colorful marquetry forms the rosette & surrounds the top. The sides have raised ribs like the original Weymanns. The X-bracing is relatively light, but unscalloped. The scale length is 25.4 (Martin long scale). The slotted headstock has a gold MOP inlay that is repeated on the heelcap Grained Ivoroid headstock, fretboard and body bindings The fretboard has a combination of Gibson style Banjo, and L-10 type gold & white MOP inlays. McIntyre soundboard transducer pickup Doc Watson's signature is on the front of the guitar One top crack repaired by John Arnold, himself Original Harptone case with many festival stickers intact MOJO, MOJO, AND MORE MOJO!
