Vintage late '40's Vega Duo Tron Archtop (D46)-SOLD
This archtop just oozes retro-cool

These are fairly rare. The acoustic tone is raw and woody
Tobacco Sunburst all over the original finish
Rosewood fretboard with pearl dot inlays; block inlay at the 12th fret
Ivory colored bindings
All original as far as we can tell
Pickguard still intact
Bakalite housing where the pickup controls are
The pickup works great, and it sounds very vintage plugged into the tube amp we used for these recordings- volume & tone controls
It has the original amphenol radio plug (screw on adaptor to 1/4" cable) as well
Very old, hard shell case- Vega brand, quite possibly the original !
